Special Mass for Australia Day – Sunday, 25th January We warmly invite you to join us for a Special Mass on Sunday, 25th January @ 9:30am, as we gather to celebrate Australia Day in a spirit of reflection, acknowledgment, and gratitude. At this Mass, we will take a moment to acknowledge the pain and struggles of our First Nations people and honor their history, culture, and resilience. We will also celebrate the rich diversity of this land, recognizing the strength that comes from our shared commitment to building a more inclusive and compassionate society. This service will provide an opportunity for us to come together in prayer, reflection, and unity as we seek to walk forward in a spirit of reconciliation, peace, and mutual respect. All are welcome to attend this special service, as we reflect on our nation’s past and look towards a future of greater harmony and understanding.

At St Matthew’s, our worship is rooted in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. We celebrate the sacraments with reverence and beauty, drawing on the rich liturgy, prayer, and teaching of the Catholic faith within the Anglican Church of Australia. Our worship seeks to honour God through word, sacrament, music, and symbol, while offering a welcoming and prayerful space for all.
