The Cheltenham Opportunity Shop is managed by
St Matthew's Anglican Church and is staffed by
volunteers. The shop, which
opened in 1961 and moved to its current double-front premises in 1984, has become one of Cheltenham's best known Op Shops, serving the community for over 55 years!
The shop offers good quality donated items at great prices so many great bargains can be found! The shop provides funding for the church and also donates surplus items to various charities.
Donations of goods are most welcome and can be delivered to the shop, providing they are good quality and adhere to our policy (right).
You will find:
- Clothing and footwear for all ages
- Household items
- Childrens toys
- Books
- CD's and DVD's
- Collectable items
- And many more bargains!
It is the policy of the Op Shop NOT to give refunds, exchanges or credits so please choose items carefully.
We only hold items for up to 7 days, after this time they will be put back into stock. Items to the value of $25 can be put away.
We do NOT accept the following items:
electrical goods, furniture, mattresses, cots, prams or strollers due to government regulations.
Volunteers
The Op Shop is always looking for more volunteers. Please consider whether you can spare some time to give to this important ministry and venture of our parish. Any one under 90 years is most welcome to apply.
